The examination resulted in the recovery of key artifacts that showed that the subject had knowingly downloaded, viewed, and subsequently shared the files in question.
July 2018: State of Maine v. Jill Lamontagne (Gross Sexual Assault)
This case involved a suspect that was a high school teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student at the school. I testified as an expert witness in relation to the examination that was conducted on the cellular telephone of the victim. The examination resulted in the recovery of text messages and telephone call logs indicating a history of communication between Jill Lamontagne and the victim.
February 2016: United States v. Gregg Owens (Interstate Domestic Violence)
This federal case was featured in a Dateline NBC documentary titled "The Intruder" (link to information.) In this case, a subject by the name of Gregg Owens was charged with Interstate Domestic Violence when he drove from New Hampshire to Maine in order to shoot his wife and her friend while the wife was visiting a residence. I testified as an expert witness in relation to the digital evidence that was seized from the residence of Gregg Owens. The examination resulted in the recovery of several digital artifacts that showed that Gregg Owens attempted to create a false alibi by altering date and time stamps on a laptop computer. The examination also resulted in the recovery of several fraudulent military and travel documents.

I testified as an expert witness in relation to the digital forensics examination that was conducted on the multiple devices seized from both Mark Strong and Alexis Wright. The examination resulted in the recovery of several thousand images and videos implicating Mark Strong in the crime of Promotion of Prostitution as well as files showing the attempted cover-up of the crime and attempted destruction of digital evidence.
